Technology in a College English Classroom

A significant part of my teaching philosophy is the idea that instruction should be differentiated to meet individual student needs as often as possible.  Educators can meet students where they are by familiarizing ourselves with their skill levels, interests, and learning styles so that we can eventually guide them towards growth through high-impact learning.  In 2013, much of this engagement involves the use of technology inside and outside of the classroom.  Here are several ways to incorporate various media in your instruction.
